Things are coming apart all around me. I'm in a calm little bubble, but it seems like everybody else has a bunch of crap they're dealing with right now.
My hubby had to work by himself all last week because the other assistant called in sick for the whole week and then when he got the work this morning, he learned that she will probably be out all this week, too. They don't know what's wrong for sure but antibiotics aren't working and the doc says it's 'highly contagious' so james is on his own for another week. It really sucks because they were already short-handed, so now he's doing the work of 2.5 people and he's getting really burnt-out. Plus, he's all worried that this girl may have something like Swine Flu or something and may pass it to him and then me and then to the baby, so he's kinda freaking on multiple levels.
Then... My boss just had a cardiac cath last week and now today, he had to rush his wife to the hospital with chest pains and they don't know if she was having a heart attack or panic attack or whatever. They're keeping her overnight for testing & observation. It's just extra sad, too because she is really motherly to me and I really like her.
Then... One of the nurses fell and fractured her knee cap today before work, so my bosses other business may have some trouble from that. They were already so slow that he only had one patient on the books for tomorrow and apparently, that person just cancelled.
For me, it's been kind of an uneventful day, thankfully. I got a few extra bucks from my jewelry sales so I treated myself to chinese chicken & broccoli for lunch. It was tasty. That's about it.
Please pray for Nancy, and James, and Jackie if you would. Thanks!! :-)

Dino theme & stuff
James has been busy getting 'cutesy' dinosaur stuff for the nursery. Some of it is pretty random, like the rolls of wrapping paper, but he said we can use it like contact paper or something on shelves and stuff. lol.My favorite thing we've gotten so far is the light switch plate (bottom right)...
I think it's so freakin cute! And here's a pic of the mystery bassinette, Morgan's old potty chair, and the cutest dog:

Not much else it happening to speak of. We saw a really awesome rainbow the other day and could even see both ends of the rainbow, and I got it on camera:

Government Issue Joe

So far, things have been going well. The job is... well, still there so that's a plus. I feel fine most of the time, and a little stomach achy when I get hungry after a few hours. Not much else is new. James is at home with a forced day off (his boss is on vacation again) playing the new GI Joe Playstation game. He's so excited bout that movie coming out! In fact, last night he made me watch a movie that Channing Tatum was in (the lead for the GI Joe movie, Duke) called Step Up. And it was so hilar. He was all ghetto and dancing like a rock star and talking like he was black and it was so funny! Now I don't know if I'll be able to keep a straight face when I see him shooting folks up in GI Joe. hahaha. Oh yeah, I listed the new sweepstakes on beauticreams.blogspot.com blog and nobody has entered it yet, so go stake your claim on an antiaging cleanser. You know you want it. Ok that's it for now. Byeeeeeee!
