in other news, i'm trying to get health insurance and its freakin expensive! AND its super-not fun to shop for. i'm such a grown up.

So I didn't win that Home Depot Gift Certificate. :( Big suprise.

James' car is in the shop, AGAIN so I have to go pick him up after work and he'll probably be grouchy 'cause he has to wait an hour before I can get there. Sad, but hopefully he'll live.

I'm taking up bicycling. While that may sound trivial, it is actually not because I'm riding a road bike with very thin tires and handlebars that make you bend WAY over and ride with your upper torso practically horizontal. It kinda hurts still but it should be easier once my back & arms are in better shape. fun fun.

SO. This morning, as I typed an email to lil-bits, I was in mid-type and I heard the door chime go off because some lady walked in to Skin Surgery Center next door because the cleaning lady left it open! I almost had a heart attack! And then I cried and called and yelled at my boss. Geez, people. I'm here by myself all week, the least these people can do is lock the freakin doors! There are 3 doors on the chime other than the one I can see, so somebody coulda snuck in one of the back doors and killed me. And earlier this week, I found that one of the back doors was left unlocked, and that wasn't by the cleaning lady! Besides, it's a little different when I find a door unlocked and when someone actually comes in... somewhere. Thanks a lot, people. Freakin' sheesh.

Anyways, I'm doing a dumb thing. I'm eating all fruits vegetables today. Just for fun. Its just during the day as I'm sure my hubby will bust out with some frozen pizza or something to blow my veg-diet but whatev.

I heard from a plumber that silverfish don't come in the house like normal bugs - by doors, windows, cracks, etc. They come in through the pipes. ewww. I wonder if that means they really are fish, and can swim and breathe underwater, too?! Who knows. That makes them like mutants stuck in mid-evolution. hmm.
